Your Guide: Nathan Michael

We connected with photographer and social media strategist Nathan Michael, and asked him to show us around his home city of Chicago. He said yes, grabbed a Wythe, and took to the streets to document his favorite spots in the area. Take a peek below to read about his trip.:

1. Low Res Studio

Brooklyn Bicycle Co. Wythe

Low Res Studio is an event space and agency that fosters Chicago creatives. Not a bad place for a photo op, this studio has its finger on the pulse of what's happening currently in Chicago and around the country.

2. The Allis

Chicago Bike Tour

The Allis is an elegant restaurant and bar in the public area of Soho House (an exclusive member's only club). From brunch to late night Negronis, they have it all.

 3. Urban Belly

Urban Belly Chicago

Nathan's favorites at this Thai restaurant: Lemongrass Chicken and the Pad Thai.

4. Lake Shore Drive

Brooklyn Bicycle Co. Wythe

During the warmer months in Chicago, locals can be seen strolling and running this lakeside trail, sunbathing, picnicking, and taking in the views.

5. Antique Taco

Antique Taco Chicago

Nathan's picks: the Crispy Fish Tacos or the Pork Carnitas (and maybe a Horchata Milkshake too!).

6. Longman & Eagle

Longman and Eagle Chicago

This Off Site Bar is an extension to the main restaurant, but has its own menu. On weekends Nathan suggests trying the specialty donuts.

7. Bang Bang Pie

Bang Bang Pie

Nathan's pick: the avocado biscuit.

8. Sawada Coffee

Sawada Coffee Chicago

Here pictured: the famous "military latte," a mixture of espresso and matcha.

9. Green Street Smoked Meats

Green Street Smoked Meats Chicago

Perfect for summer BBQ.

10. Soldier Field

Soldier Field Chicago

Soldier Field is the home of the Chicago Bears, and is located near the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Field Museum.
